A photograph taken at the Erie Piers. The waves create a sense of fluid motion, inviting the user to ponder the question... where should those stairs be leading?

The Stairs: A Retrospective collection highlights stairs, but also contains objects that can be considered stairs as well such as slides and ladders. This collection is an experiment in angles, as well as capturing isolated urbanscape photographs.

This photo can be ordered in both color or monochrome prints. The poster sizes available are small, medium, large, and extra large. This photo can be framed at its regular size of 12.75x8.5 inches.

A bit unsettling...

I admit that some pictures give me anxiety, and this picture does it for me. It's probably that title, as it gives me a mental image I otherwise wouldn't have thought of. I do like the picture's composition for what it's worth, but this isn't one of my favorite pictures in the Stairs Collection.

When I think of water, I don't usually think of stairs. While there are some ladders in this collection, I feel like their omisssion here subverts the usual expectation of them in regards to entering water. This, combined with both the title and the vibrant green waters create a sense of danger that makes for an unusually interesting photograph.
